Welcome to The UK Pinball Party …

The pinball scene in the UK has been going from strength to strength over the past few years and this year’s UK Pinball Party is the scene’s showcase event.

The event will be held at the luxurious Barcelo Daventry Hotel on August 13th-15th 2010.

If you love playing pinball, there will be more than 100 pinball machines set to freeplay over the weekend. From early electromechanicals to the latest solid state machines, there really is something for everyone. Members from the UK Pinball Group (click the link above for more information) kindly bring along pinball machines from their own collections so everyone can play games they would never otherwise get to play.

Fancy competing with the best UK players? Why not enter the UK Pinball Open, organised by Pinball News? With prizes, trophies and World Pinball Player Ranking (WPPR) points available, when registrations open, make sure you sign up quickly as spaces are strictly limited. As well as the Open, there’s also the Classic Tournament, the Team Tournament, the Kids Tournament and the finals of the UK Pinball League!

Maybe the concept of pinball and how pinball machines are made fascinates you? Then why not come along to the dinner evening on Saturday 14th August where our guest speaker will be none other than Dennis Nordman – designer of such classic games as White Water, Scared Stiff, Indianapolis 500, The Party Zone and most recently, Pirates of the Caribbean and Wheel of Fortune!! Dennis will be flying over especially from the USA as our honoured guest to chat about the games he has designed and anything and everything to do with pinball! It promises to be an unmissable evening so book your tickets quickly as spaces are strictly limited!

The UK Pinball Party is a new type of event with everything under the one roof – the show’s venue, the accommodation, the dinner evening, the food, the drink, the bar and most importantly the people that make shows like this a huge success.
