This year, the UK Pinball Group’s annual dinner takes on a new format.

At 8pm on Saturday 22nd August 2015, a sumptuous hog roast (Vegetarian options also available), with all the trimmings, starts off the evening – followed by UK Pinball news and awards and ends with a talk from our guest speaker – including a Q&A hosted by industry legend and historian Gary Flower (details to be announced later). The night ends with an exclusive night-time pinball playing session (included in the dinner price) from 11.30pm – 3am for all dinner guests, organisers and machine providers.

For 2010, our guest speaker was top pinball designer Dennis Nordman – designer of such classic games as Whitewater, Scared Stiff and Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean.

In 2011, Jersey Jack Pinball’s CEO & Founder, Jack Guarnieri, was our guest speaker. After dinner, Jack talked about setting up his new pinball manufacturing company and thrilled the audience with details about his first game, The Wizard of Oz.

In 2012, pinballing legend Mark Ritchie, designer of such games as Fish Tales and Indiana Jones (WMS), was our special guest and gave an enthralling speech about his career in pinball, including his experiences setting up Capcom’s pinball division.

For 2013, The UK Pinball Party had another design legend lined up – Stern Pinball’s George Gomez. George has designed many top games, including Monster Bash, Revenge From Mars, The Lord of the Rings, Transformers and most recently, The Avengers. George spoke about his career in pinball, his involvement with the Pinball 2000 platform and his life at Stern Pinball.

Last year, in 2014, we were proud to welcome pinball design legend Barry Oursler as our special guest of honour – designer of such legendary games as Solar Fire, Jungle Lord, Defender, Cyclone, Dirty Harry, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Jack*Bot and Junkyard!

Our 2015 Special Guest will be announced over the coming months. Dinner tickets are only £32,50 per person for this year but spaces are strictly limited. Go to the TICKETS section now and book your ticket for what promises to be an un-missable summery evening!
